Terms of Business

These terms apply when you engage Anita Elliott (trading as Visit Wills) for will-writing services.

Fees

Fees are agreed upfront in writing before work begins. No hidden charges.

Introductory engagement (as published on the website): for the first ten instructed clients only — single will £125; couples (mirror wills) £225. Availability is limited and tracked in order of instruction.

Standard fees (when introductory places are no longer available): single will £150; couples (mirror wills) £250.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the will, by bank transfer. Details provided with the invoice.

Cooling-off period

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days to cancel without charge where the contract is concluded away from business premises. See the Cancellation Form.

Confidentiality

All information you share is treated in confidence and subject to solicitor professional duties.

Liability

Liability is limited to the level of the Professional Indemnity Insurance cover in force (£2.5M).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
